Milk and Egg Protein Shake

Both milk and eggs contain rich sources of protein. If you want to make your own protein shakes, you can do so at home with these ingredients. Here is how.

Milk Whey

Your blender.

Milk Whey

Don't be stingy when it comes to buying a blender. A good blender can last you for several years. Usually, for lower motors, the blade or the motor gets damaged easily. The blade gets damaged when you try to use the blender to cut hard rock items - like ice. The motor gets overheated when you use the blender for prolonged periods of time. This usually happens to less powerful motors because you need more time to blend. So buy a good blender for making your protein shakes.

Preparing ingredients.

Here is a recipe that you can use.

1 glass of low fat milk.
2 whole eggs.
1 frozen banana.
5 ice cubes.
1 teaspoon of Milo powder.
1 teaspoon of coffee powder.

Let's do a quick calculation of how much protein you will get from such a recipe. 1 glass of milk gives about 10g of protein (depending on the brand). 2 eggs will give you roughly 10g of protein. So that makes 20 grams of protein altogether. If this is not enough, you can consider adding one to two scoops of protein powder. But usually, this is enough for the average adult. The Milo and coffee powder are added for taste only. Don't add too much. Just a teaspoon for each will do.

The above recipe will give you a nutritious protein drink that tastes like Mocha.

Christmas Sales The Organic Whey - USDA Certified Organic Whey Protein Overview

The Organic Whey was started because we couldn't find any other whey protein powder that was certified organic and was high in all the amino acids needed for lean muscles. Every batch of The Organic Whey is certified by Oregon Tilth to meet USDA's strict guidelines for organic products. The Organic Whey contains a near perfect amino-acid profile to maximize the protein utlization co-efficient. The Organic Whey is unflavored because we ensured that it naturally tastes good without the need to add any flavors to mask the taste. Ever tasted a real tree-ripened peach, or a garden-fresh ripe red tomato? If so you'll appreciate that food tastes better when it's grown in its own time. Organically raised animals grow at their own natural pace, without artificial growth hormones. This means less animal stress and better tasting food! The Organic Whey comes from cows that have not been treated with bovine growth hormones (BGH) to increase milk production. This was due to our concern that hormones in milk could raise the risk of hormone-related cancers, or lead to higher levels of an insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1) linked with cancer. The Organic Whey cows' feed is grown without synthetic pesticides. This ensures that The Organic Whey doesn't contain any traces of pesticides that are known carcinogens.
